On Demand SmartHands

OA Single Global Resource for On-Demand IT Field Services.

As IT needs grow more complex and more closely aligned with financial business objectives, the trend toward a more contingent-labor-based IT workforce continues to gain momentum. It is common for a mid-sized global organization to have more than 50 technology partners engaged to cover its geographic footprint and have the right repository of skills needed to address any need. Technology providers have continued to become specialists within given technology disciplines, further complicating service delivery processes.

SmartHands Bridges the Gaps

CentricsIT has a large global network of technicians available for incremental labor needs, including:

Server rack and stack
Data center migrations
PTO Backfill
Onsite support desk responses
Client device installations and upgrades
Our highly vetted network of L1-L4 technicians can help you address short-term on-demand engineering needs in a cost-effective, reliable way.

SmartHands for Your Shrinking Workforce

In the past, engineers were staffed specifically for an application or type of hardware. These engineers were advanced specialists who had honed their crafts over many years. That strategy worked for a time, but there’s a new trend emerging: employ generalists, reduce headcount, and staff as few engineers as possible.

This new strategy works well for the bottom line, but it can leave you vulnerably shorthanded for big projects like audits or migrations. This is especially problematic for projects that span across multiple locations.

If you are operating with a lean engineering team but feeling the pressure of being understaffed, know that you don’t need to.

Extensive PTO Coverage
Prior to your team member taking PTO, we’ll deploy an engineer to shadow the team member they are scheduled to backfill to learn his or her role, processes, and procedures. This ensures a fully trained team member is in place to maintain quality coverage during extended employee absences.

Flexible Duration
Our SmartHands teams can be deployed on a flexible schedule, so you’re covered whether you need engineers for a few hours or for weeks at a time.

Granular Billing
Our SmartHands engineers can bill by the hour, half day, day, or week depending on your needs and the size of your project.

Global Coverage
Our engineering force can be deployed in more than 80 countries with as little as 24-hour notice. We can facilitate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, across borders and time zones.

Single Point of Contact
Our extensive, highly vetted global network eliminates the need to hire and manage multiple providers around the world. CentricsIT is your single, dedicated point of contact to manage all your IT projects around the world.
