Clear answers about prepaid time, remote support and how to prepare.
Getting started
How do I request support?
Use the Request Support page, email [email protected] or call 305-394-1091. Describe the issue and equipment. We review the request, confirm the proposed scope and arrange prepayment before support begins.
Do I need to know exactly what is wrong?
No. Explain what you expected to happen, what actually happened and any error messages. Equipment models, screenshots and recent changes can help us prepare.
Is this for businesses or home users?
Our services focus on business technology. Home-office and other individual requests can be reviewed for suitability. We confirm that we can help before arranging payment.
Do you support equipment from different manufacturers?
We review mixed networks and computer environments, including UniFi / Ubiquiti, Synology, Windows and Mac. Send the models and versions so we can confirm the scope. We do not promise support for every device or legacy system.
Pricing and prepayment
What is the hourly rate and minimum charge?
The prepaid support rate is $120 per hour with a one-hour minimum. The minimum prepaid charge is $120.
What if my issue takes less than one hour?
The one-hour minimum still applies. For example, a 30-minute support session has a minimum charge of $120.
When do I pay?
Support time is prepaid. After reviewing your request, we provide the payment arrangements for the agreed work. Submitting an inquiry does not make a payment or reserve an appointment.
What happens if the work needs more time?
We explain the findings and discuss the additional time or revised scope. We obtain your approval before continuing beyond your authorized work or budget.
Are equipment and software included?
No. The rate covers agreed support labor. Hardware, parts, software subscriptions, licenses and separately quoted services are additional purchases.
What are the cancellation and unused-time terms?
The applicable arrangements are provided with your written quote or invoice before payment. Ask us to clarify any cancellation, rescheduling or unused-time question before prepaying.
Technical support
How does remote support work?
At an agreed time, we use an appropriate remote-support or screen-sharing method with your authorization. You may need to be present, sign in to accounts and provide access to the equipment. We explain the required access before beginning.
What cannot be done remotely?
Physical tasks such as replacing hardware, testing a cable by hand, installing an access point or repairing a computer require someone at the equipment. We discuss separate arrangements when on-site work or a specialist is needed.
Can you help if the internet connection is down?
Possibly, but remote access may not be available. Someone on site may need to perform basic checks, connect using another method or contact the internet provider. We review the situation before confirming the approach.
Can you help plan or improve a network?
Yes. An agreed support scope can include reviewing requirements, network settings, Wi-Fi concerns, segmentation or equipment choices. Larger designs, installations and ongoing management may need a separate project.
What if the problem cannot be fixed during the appointment?
We explain what was found and the recommended next step. Some problems require more time, replacement equipment, vendor assistance or on-site work. Approved troubleshooting time is part of the support work; a one-hour purchase does not guarantee a completed repair.
Scheduling and preparation
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Contact us for current availability. Support appointments are confirmed individually. This prepaid offering does not promise an immediate response or a 24/7 response-time commitment.
What should I have ready?
Have a description of the issue, relevant device models, error messages and an authorized person available. Confirm you have suitable backups before work that could affect data. Do not email passwords or payment-card information.
Can I watch what is being done?
For an attended screen-sharing session, you can follow the work and ask questions. The access method and any continuing access needed are discussed as part of the agreed scope.
Can you provide ongoing IT support instead?
Yes. Paradise Technologies also offers broader business IT services. Ask us about ongoing support if you need regular maintenance, monitoring or a defined managed-services plan.
Have a different question?
Tell us what you need help with. We can discuss the situation before arranging prepaid support.
