Make a Wi-Fi coverage checklist

1. Sketch the space

   Mark rooms, floors and the current router or access-point locations.

2. Mark the affected locations

   Note where calls drop or pages become slow using the same device.

3. Record visible obstacles

   Note thick walls, large metal objects and separate buildings between the device and access point.

4. List connected equipment

   Identify which access points are wired and which rely on a wireless link, if you know.

5. Ask for a coverage review

   Use your notes to discuss placement, wiring and whether further measurement is needed.
